Samba Fogo schedules arts residencies and guest classes in various schools and programs throughout the year. Residencies can feature Brazilian and Afro-Brazilian drumming, dance, song, and/or creative movement, depending on the interest and budget of each school. Many residencies culminate in a final student performance. Please CONTACT US to inquire about educational outreach options and rates.
By integrating hands-on cultural arts with curriculum, students learn through research-based teaching practices that address diverse learning styles and nurture creativity.
Students develop personal, social and intellectual skills while they learn to work and “play” together in an ensemble. Students learn to cooperate and achieve success as one.
Students connect more fully to their classmates as they engage with exciting cultural content and gain a global perspective.
